Replacing a

Power Supply

The AsantéHub 2072RPU is powered by two identical power sup-

plies. Replacing either one of the units can be done with power

on the hub. There is no need to shut down the hub and remove it

from network service. To replace a power supply, follow these

simple instructions and refer to the accompanying illustration.

Unscrew the two power supply retaining screws located

on the power supply face plate.

Grasp the handle on the front of the power supply and pull

straight out, removing the unit from the chassis.

Insert the new unit into the chassis, being careful to align

the edges of the power supply card with the card guide in

the chassis. Push straight in on the handle until the edge

connector at the rear of the power supply seats in its slot.

Tighten the two retaining screws. The new unit comes on

line automatically and begins load sharing..
