Preparing the Workstation PC

Create a DOS IMAGE bootable ﬂoppy disk:

C:/>format a:/s

Create the following ﬁles on the DOS IMAGE ﬂoppy disk:

AUTOEXEC.BAT

NWMLID

IPXODI

NETX

NET.CFG ﬁle containing:

LINK DRIVER NWMLID

FRAME ETHERNET_802.3

FRAME ETHERNET_802.2

PROTOCOL IPX 0 ETHERNET_802.3

Copy the following ﬁles to the DOS IMAGE ﬂoppy disk:

LSL.COM

NWMLID.COM

IPXODI.COM

NETX.EXE

SETVER.EXE
